Bob Kool - Chief Business Development Officer & Managing Director

With an educational background in Pharmacy Bob started his career as pharmacy practitioner in his own pharmacy in Roermond. During this period he was active in the board of the dutch pharmacists branch organisation KNMP. Bob was also member of the board of Regifarm, a pharmaceutical wholesale cooperation in Rotterdam, where he was involved in the establishment of a generics division. Together with Jacques Havermans (Interdos Pharma) he founded a generics company for the Regifarm Group. Bob worked as a consultant for Arcadis BMB SENTER projects as a pharmaceutical expert in designing and building a factory for the production of generics in Samara (Russia) and Sofia (Bulgaria). Bob Kool started Basic Pharma with Jacques Havermans in 2003 and implemented the business concept of bringing pharmaceutical product development, licensing, manufacturing, supply and services together in a group of companies closely working together, reinforcing each other and making use of shared facilities and personnel. Bob's main responsibilities are Process & Product development, Business Development and Corporate Strategy.

Jacques Havermans - Managing Director Interdos

Jacques Havermans, the other co-founder of Basic Pharma is Registered Qualified Person for GMP and for Pharmacovigilance and Managing Director of Interdos Pharma, the pharmaceutical service-provider of the Basic Pharma Group. Jacques is a pharmacist (MSc) and started Interdos in 1999. Jacques' main responsibilities are Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and the overall Product Development and Licensing  strategy of the group. He has 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in areas such as development of pharmaceutical products and registration dossiers, pharmaceutical consultancy, quality control and batch certification of pharmaceutical products, pharmacovigilance services, obtaining and maintaining manufacturing licenses and  expert reporting. Jacques has built an international network with clients that rely on the expertise and skills of his team and himself.

Harry Relouw - General Manager & Chief Financial Officer

Harry Relouw is Managing Director of Basic Pharma Holding and chairman of the Management Board & Management Team. He is responsible for general affairs, finance, legal affairs, human resource & organisation management, business planning & strategy and operations of Basic Pharma Manufacturing. Harry joined Basic Pharma early 2012. In his role he aligns and executes Basic Pharma's strategy in close collaboration with the Management Board and Management Team. He has more than twenty-five years, including international, experience in general management, finance and operations, mainly in Pharma and Biotech. Before joining Basic Pharma, Harry was Director Finance & Control at Prosensa, a Leiden based bio-pharmaceutical company. Harry was involved in private financing rounds, obtaining subsidies and grants for research projects, design and execution of business planning & reporting. Prior to Prosensa, Harry worked in several senior Finance positions, amongst others at Akzo Nobel, Ericsson, DSM, Rhein Biotech and the Korean based vaccine manufacturer GreenCross Vaccines, which company he helped to integrate in the Rhein Biotech Group. Harry has a bachelor's degree in Finance & Control.

Cees Dekker- Director Quality Affairs

Cees Dekker is Director Quality Affairs of the Quality Assurance and Compliance department, the Quality Control department and member of the management team. He is responsible for all Quality related subjects and release activities. The Quality Assurance team at Basic Pharma works in close cooperation with QC and Operations departments and supports these in maintaining the high GMP standards that the company is known for.

Cees has joined Basic Pharma in 2016. He has 20 years of experience in Quality Assurance, at (bio)pharmaceutical companies as well as medical device companies and is skilled in Quality and GMP. His previous experience includes QA positions at  Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Bayer and Illumina. Further skills include (quality) training, auditing, root cause analysis and process excellence. Cees holds a bachelors degree in Biochemistry.

Cyrille Delahaye – Operations Director

Cyrille Delahaye is Operations Drector of Basic Pharma Manufacturing and member of the Management Team. He is responsible for the operational activities of Basic Pharma Manufacturing , being all supply chain and production related business processes and sales. Cyrille joined Basic Pharma in November 2015. In his role Cyrille is responsible for the further professionalisation and optimisation of the operational activities. He has more than twenty years experience in chemical engineering, engineering management, operations- and plant management within international settings. Before joining Basic Pharma, Cyrille was responsible for running several operations within high-end industries like micro electronics, pharmaceutical and solar (PV).  Cyrille’s experience and specialty is further within the fields of change management, lean management and total quality management. Cyrille has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in business management.

Maja Habets - Production Manager

Maja Habets joined Basic Pharma in May 2012 starting as a QA Officer. In February 2013 Maja was promoted to Production Manager. In this role she has the overall pharmaceutical responsibility for the in-house production and packing of fluids, creams, ointments, IMPs and sterile products. Maja studied Pharmacy and worked for 6 years as Regulatory Affairs Officer and Product Specialist for B Braun products in Macedonia.

Peter Hollanders – Business Development Manager

Peter joined Basic Pharma in 2017. He has more than twenty years of experience in business development and sales-management in healthcare companies. Prior to joining Basic Pharma, he held various roles in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry e.g. regional manager, sales-manager, export-manager. He worked for global companies like Bayer and GSK. Within Basic Pharma he is responsible for various operations related to new-business and strategic alliances with a commercial impact. Peter is a member of the Management Team and holds a Master’s degree in health sciences (University Maastricht) and an Executive MBA of Business School Netherlands.

Heidi Fiddelaers – Manager Quality Control

Heidi Fiddelaers is Manager Quality Control of Basic Pharma Laboratory, the quality control laboratory of Basic Pharma Manufacturing, and member of the Management Team. She is responsible for all quality control matters within the GLP certified laboratory. Well trained and educated staffs and state-of-the art laboratory equipment and facilities allows to service both internal clients and external clients in a wide range of services.

Heidi joined Basic Pharma in March 2011 starting as a Senior Laboratory Technician. In May 2013 Heidi was promoted to Team Leader of Pharmaceutical Analysis and promoted to Manager Quality Control in November 2017. Before joining Basic Pharma, Heidi had ten years experience in quality control activities at Johnson & Johnson. Heidi holds a bachelors degree in Biochemistry.
