Human Serum Albumin (HSA) is the most abundant protein in human plasma, essential for maintaining osmotic pressure and transporting key molecules. Through recombinant protein production, we offer a safer, animal-free alternative: recombinant HSA (rHSA), produced in genetically engineered Hansenula polymorpha yeast.

High-Purity, Animal-Free rHSA

Our rHSA is produced through a yeast-based recombinant protein expression platform. The HSA gene is inserted into the genome of Hansenula polymorpha, enabling the yeast’s endogenous protein machinery to produce tag-free rHSA.

The developed production process includes optimized upstream process development (gene integration, fermentation) and downstream purification (filtration, chromatography), resulting in high-purity rHSA (>95%).
